The Centre's first Business Manager Network Meeting for 2013 was held on Friday 8th March. The productive session was attended by around 30 Business Managers from across the Centre's membership, with presentations from:

  • Jon Reid – ACNC (Director of Reporting & Red Tape Reduction): The current implementation of the ACNC, with some generous feedback received in relation to reporting and reduction of red tape.
  • Juanita Pope – PilchConnect (Director): The changes to the Association Incorporation Act and impact of the introduction of the ACNC.
  • Fiona Waters & Liana Shi – DHS (IM&T Service Delivery): Presentation and discussion on the current position of DHS on IT systems. This presentation highlighted the importance of the IT survey being undertaken by the Centre on behalf of DHS.
  • Chris Shelly (Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare): A general overview of upcoming work at the Centre, with discussion of important issues from across all attendees.

The ACNC, DHS and Centre presentations can be found attached below.

The Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare Tas Vic acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live and work, the palawa/pakana of lutruwita and the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. We pay our respects to Elders past and present. We honour their enduring strength and aspirations for the future of their young people, communities and lands.

We appreciate and celebrate diversity in all its forms. We believe diversity of all kinds makes our teams, services and organisation stronger and more effective.
